Administrative Assistant - Administrative Assistants provide general admin support to the various sections within the office. Although many of the tasks are straightforward, regulated by well-established guidelines and/or detailed instructions, some initiative may be required. Advice is readily available and standard procedures are usually followed. Admin Assistants work within a team with regular management support and are responsible for their own time.
Duties may include:
• Photocopying and scanning documents
• Retrieving files out for queries
• Filing
• Form-filling
• Data entry and recording on the in-house computer system
• Operating court/tribunal/office equipment
• Collecting & balancing fees, including use of Chip & Pin
• Opening, logging and distributing mail
• Answering straightforward telephone and email queries
• General ad hoc office duties
Skills
Experience of using Microsoft computer packages, i.e. Word, Excel & Outlook.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 GCSE's (at Grade A, B or C) including English Language, or equivalent.
Experience
Candidates must have suitable experience within an administrative role.
