ASP net Programmer job description

To work on a web-based application which provides access to interactive tools for aiding in structural integrity management.

The development team needs a mid-level programmer to assist with client specified module developments
 and day to day system support.

  * Work with the project team to define functional requirements and estimate completion times in a goal-setting environment

* Assist with the design, development, and maintenance of internet-based applications and other technologies within a
  supportive and mentoring environment

* Troubleshoot technical issues with high-impact production applications in collaboration with a team of technical experts
 
 * Work with the project team to define functional requirements and estimate completion times in a goal-setting

 * Provide day to day help-desk support

* Bachelors in computer science, information technology, or related field OR equivalent experience

* Three or more years of professional experience with web development programming and design

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML, and/or XML within a professional working environment

 * Preferred experience with Sharepoint and/or MoSS

* Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server

* Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Web Development is a plus.
