Job Summary-Audit Inspection Manager job description
To supervise and manage the audit inspection team to ensure that the company Audit regime, including completion of audits within a planned audit programme across a number of company computer systems and databases, is adhered to.
To ensure compliance with company requirements is achieved and reported on.
To act as liaison with external bodies such as the Audit Commission in scoping audit activity and assisting in preparation for external audit.

Management
Responsible for the management of the Audit Inspection team including; performance management; setting and monitoring objectives in
line with the performance review system, attendance management, training and coaching, and discipline and grievances
To organise, allocate and distribute workload to the team in order to provide an efficient and effective audit inspection service
Provide necessary guidance and advice to Audit Inspection Officers.
To develop, maintain and review systems and processes to ensure that the team remains effective and efficient.

Through risk assessed decision making to plan, implement and provide evaluation of the company audit programme using appropriate research and data collection techniques.
To maintain an overview of national audit issues and ensure that senior management are sighted on the implications for the company
Identify non compliant areas
To review audits completed by the audit team, apply knowledge using research techniques in assessing performance and propose audit
of compliance enhancements and recommendations
To collect, audit, prepare, analyse and present both qualitative and quantitative data in written report form, including statistical
analysis, using computer statistical presentations
for senior management, that highlights areas of perceived risk, through the decision making process.
To facilitate organisational change through the audit process, by enforcing audit procedures and their recommended outcomes company wide
To provide written reports and risk assessed audit recommendations where there are non compliant areas of work for work improvement. This should include a schedule of outlined actions to drive through and implement change
Research & implement new legislation and national doctrine relating to the audit of compliance
Audit individual systems and department sections to ensure compliance with MOPI, NCRS, NSIR, HOCR, Victims Code, and the Policing Pledge.
To audit adherence to local instructions, such as dealing with property etc.
To audit and report on compliance of Area financial regulations.

To conduct presentations to staff and senior management as required, to illustrate analytical techniques and outline
findings/results/recommendations utilising all forms of available communication
