To undertake concert duty on a rota basis, representing the company at a range of venues away from base.
IEssential Qualities
Pleasant and friendly telephone manner: you will be dealing with enquiries from a wide range of people.
An outgoing personality: you will be making out-bound telesales calls and work in a noisy, open plan office.
General knowledge of music: some of the queries to the Audience Line can be quite detailed and, whilst you will not be expected to answer every query personally, you will be expected to handle each enquiry smoothly.
Enthusiasm for the arts in general: you will be selling tickets for a wide variety of arts events, from classical and popular music to literature festivals.
Trustworthy nature: you will be handling customers’ personal data every day, within the rules of the Data Protection Act 1998.
Computer skills: you will be using Windows based software on a daily basis.
Good numerical skills: you will be handling credit card and cheque payments for tickets on a daily basis.
A willingness to work at concerts away from base: You will be required to do concert duty on a rota basis at a range of the venues.

Desirable Qualities
Previous experience of working in a box office: whilst the Audience Line does not operate as a traditional box office, an understanding of the role of the box office within an arts organisation would be advantageous.
Previous telesales experience: you will be making out-bound sales phone calls, however full training will be given.
