To undertake post implementation review for all investment cases that require them.
To collaborate with embedded divisional finance teams in order to review and validate the financial schedules and cost/benefit analysis within business cases, investment appraisals and PIRs prior to submission for approval.
To undertake budgetary review and planning of Admin Projects (non-recurring Revenue spend) as directed.
-To prepare management accounts and management reporting packs for capital expenditure, balance sheet, depreciation, project cash flows and divisional project portfolios as required.
-To provide input on specific project activities that do not fit normal trends for the capital budget setting and management process.
-To review and explain exceptional variances on capital items to support divisional management reporting.
-To provide ad hoc business financial analysis support for projects and fixed assets.
-To ensure that project timetables are updated and that project closure, and for capital projects, capitalisation, is reported and actioned within agreed service level timetables.

Quality Assurance:
-To validate project set up requests and that business supplied information is to the required standard, format and completeness.
-To ensure that Investment Proposal and PIR paperwork is complete and prepared to the required format prior to submission for approval.
-To ensure that creation of asset records and settlement of project costs through capitalisation is to the required standards and is able to give the required level of operational business analysis.
Data Management:
To set up capital and admin projects to the required standard and appropriate profile.
-To create, and amend asset records and undertake settlement of capital project costs to fixed asset records in line with required financial treatment.
-To monitor and resolve project and asset settlement errors.
-To create asset worklists and action asset changes as required.
-To undertake asset audits and the provision of relevant information to support the Internal and external audit of the investment process.

To liaise with other Corporate functions in adhering to the company investment approval process.
To ensure that company Investment Proposals submitted to the DGFC approval process comply with the required corporate standard.
Training (or willing to train) for a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Management accounts:
-Able to prepare regular management accounts and related reports. Planning, budgeting and forecasting: able to assist management to prepare financial projections within defined parameters; understand the company objectives and its financial targets; understand the internal and external factors and constraints that influence the achievement of these objectives and targets.
-Able to prepare reports on performance.
Communicating Financial Information:
Able to explain complex data and information in a clear and concise written and verbal format to finance and non-finance people.
