Main responsibilities-Caretaker job description
Perform mail and general courier duties as directed, to ensure a smooth running courier and driving service.
Transport of equipment, property and personnel to various locations as and when required.
Cleaning, checking and routine maintenance of company fleet vehicles, garages and car wash to include the arrangement and monitoring of service schedules and upkeep of related paperwork as and when required.
Monitor stock levels e.g. cones, signs, bulbs, oil, screen wash etc in storage and vehicles.

Undertake general caretaking, and porterage duties, including first line maintenance of systems, minor grounds maintenance and general DIY tasks as required.
Duties also include driving and responsibility for allocated vehicles; vehicle checks; required routine maintenance and cleaning; transporting goods, equipment and personnel. There will be a requirement to undertake
duties at other stations as required.
*First line repair and maintenance of fixtures and fittings, including the testing of lighting, heating and alarm systems and emergency generators in line with health and safety procedures.
Assisting with the cleaning of the premises as and when required.
Porterage duties including the preparation of venues for meetings/conferences and undertaking office removals as required
Minor grounds maintenance, gardening and cleanliness of surroundings.
Snow clearance and gritting of paths and walkways during bad weather
Undertake general DIY tasks including (but not restricted to) painting, minor joinery,
shelving etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Janitor job description
Qualifications/ Training
Hold a full, driving licence for manual cars including category D1 and C1
Experience
Experience of driving various vehicles on a standard driving licence
Experience of general DIY work / tasks
Previous experience of routine vehicle cleaning
Demonstrates experience of caretaking and grounds maintenance
