Scope Working with colleagues to provide refreshments, and carrying out duties with due regard to cleanliness, both personal and within the unit at all times.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To serve the staff with food beverages
To clean and clear floors and tables in dining room and working areas as necessary
To wash crockery, cutlery and utensils
To pre-portion certain foods
To produce sandwiches and rolls
To prepare vegetables and salads
To grill cookery / breakfast
To operate the tills
To operate light and heavy equipment
To provide a pleasant and efficient service of meals and beverages to our customers and to undertake any ancillary duties deemed necessary by the management.
Occasional
To defrost and clean deep freezes and refrigerators
To clean walls up to raised arm level
To clean the staff room
To clean equipment
To bring in stores and empty rubbish as necessary
To give assistance to cook / chef
Working under pressure at peak hours
Possibly working in a restricted area
May work unsociable hours
Assumes responsibility for fulfilling all health and safety obligations
