Main responsibilities-Civil Engineer job description
Providing civil design and drafting support for the construction or rehabilitation of industrial facilities and services
Preparing drawings for civil earthworks including general grading, ponds, roads, and rail spurs using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, including calculations, design drawing review as well as field investigations
Coordinating and working with project team members
Preparing proposals, feasibility studies, preliminary design, engineering specifications, and contract documents
Reviewing project documents prior to issue for scope and presentation, including checking for technical accuracy against project standards and specifications
Developing and maintaining positive & sustainable client relationships

Senior Engineer -Mining
To provide design experience in civil earthworks, underground and surface utilities for mine and heavy industrial facilities.
Providing civil engineering design and technical support for the construction or rehabilitation of industrial facilities and services;
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Civil Engineer job description
Ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Technical diploma with experience in earthworks or municipal engineering design.
Strong AutoCAD and/or MicroStation computer skills
3D design/drafting experience using earthworks software is considered an asset
Solid understanding of civil engineering design aspects of projects
Minimum 10 years experience working on mining and/or heavy industrial projects
