Main responsibilities-Clerical Assistant Job Description

Use IT systems to ensure that notes are tracked, booked in and out as
required, collating investigations and filing results as per protocol

 Delivery and collection of notes

 Maintaining filing and record systems

 Photocopying as required

 To liaise with hospital staff within the directorate/division

 Maintain patient confidentiality

 Continually seeking to improve the overall effectiveness of duties undertaken

 To undertake any other duties and responsibilities which may reasonably be required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Clerical Assistant Job Description

The postholder must have a knowledge of office/secretarial procedures. Main duties include raising orders, processing invoices, updating various spreadsheets and general clerical duties such as typing and filing.

The post holder must also have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
