1. Trouble-shoot and remedy hardware and software problems.
2. Assist the school technology teams with the development and implementation of
technology plans.
3. Help maintain the Wide Area Networks and Local Area Networks.
4. Inventory and maintain all technology hardware.
5. Implement and facilitate staff development in technology.
6. Attend appropriate WDE state and regional meetings regarding technology and
report the necessary information to the superintendent and staff.
7. Facilitate the operation of the
matters related to consolidated grants, staff development and state accreditation
8. Advises and makes recommendations to the Superintendent and Board regarding
consolidated grant activities.
9. Effectively facilitates required consolidated grants advisory group meetings,
documents such meeting and reports results to appropriate entities.
10. Collaborates with building principals and district-wide curriculum and assessment
facilitator to establish and implement the activities required in the consolidated
grants.
11. Keeps accurate minutes or notes of various meetings for accreditation purposes.
12. Coordinates and implements necessary grant-required surveys and compiles data for
required reports and accreditation purposes.
13. Actively participates in the district-wide improvement/accreditation team meetings.
14. Promotes activities related to Native American culture and/or language.
15. Performs any other duties that may be assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current certification in computer technology, related field or education with a
minimum of 2 years of broad computer industry experience.
2. Self-directed worker.
3. Possesses interpersonal skills to work with district staff, students & community.
4. Candidates with Microsoft, Novell, Low Voltage and Cisco certifications will be given preference.
5. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and Board of Trustees may find acceptable.
