Responsible for managing three Designers and implementing and managing an effective traffic management system for the company’s varied, design, print, web and moving materials production. This will require the role holder to be able to take briefs, quote time for creative tasks and services, and maintain schedules and budgets for all projects in the dept including events.
The role will need to be able to manage and track a substantial budget.

The role will be required build excellent relationships with appointed contacts across the business to deliver design solutions that exceed expectations.
To deal at the highest level taking briefs from and delivering solutions back to the Corporate Heads, Comms Directors, Head of Events and the C&P acquisitions teams.
Ensure that you are aware of the status of all relevant projects, ensure deadlines are met and liaise with appropriate colleagues should problems arise.
Be the expert in ’s values and ethical policies.
To ensure resource is suitably assigned to manage projects, and budgets sought and tracked accordingly for freelance support.
Provide schedule updates as necessary to ensure all personnel involved are fully up-to-date.
Manage workflow for all jobs through the department from brief to sign-off.
Ensure regular catch-ups with the Manager team to ensure you are on top of all jobs being taken on by the team, to ensure effective tracking.
Manage, produce and distribute the monthly creative calendar to all relevant stakeholders across the creative and marketing community in the company.
Maintenance of job numbers for each project and issuing new numbers for each brief.
Keeping and maintaining a log of all briefs and creative workflow into studio.
To update and revise weekly status reports.
Manage scheduling meetings and take responsibility for feedback and points to be raised.
Manage the workflow generated by the programme prioritisation process, working in close collaboration with the Creative Account Manager to ensure WAM is updated and all programme marcomms requirements logged and scheduled; updating the system efficiently as ad hoc requests are made by Marketing
Manage the flow of work around key events and festivals ensuring all requirements are budgeted for and all external costs sourced and approved by the relevant stakeholder.
To develop and apply a rate card for all internal businesses that are not part of the internal recharge system, ensuring the team rate card is benchmarked internally and against the industry; and review the rate card on an annual basis.
Working with the Managers and the Head of Creative to deliver quarterly budget reconciliation.
Be the teams print expert – to oversee all print buying for the department to ensure the best prices are obtained and bulk ordering is employed to keep costs down.
Work in partnership with the Senior Designer to ensure the best print solutions are sought to complement the design strategy per project. Align with other divisions across the company.
Create and implement a print supplier roster and print cost matrix, and review biannually, to ensure cost efficiencies are tracked and applied.
To be the SAP/purchase ordering super-user within the team.
Must have significant experience in a media environment, creative agency or design studio, with a background in print buying.
Must have expert knowledge of the print industry with print-buying experience and particular awareness of ethical practice and sourcing.
Must have knowledge and experience of traffic management systems and budget management.
Extensive knowledge of the TV industry and the TV buying global community would be advantageous.
Must have experience of working within a busy creative team.
Must have experience of operating within international markets ideally gained within a sales and distribution environment.
Must have a full understanding of the design, print and production process with knowledge of digital marketing.
Must have experience of trade show event design and practice.
Knowledge of Worldwide, its structure and working practices would be advantageous.
Must be Mac literate, with knowledge of Illustrator, In Design and Photoshop, and have excellent Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
Must have experience of supervising or managing a small team
Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
