Job Summary-Customer Service Sales Representative job description
To respond to incoming queries on the varying insurance benefits, accurately updating the insurance system together with the mainframe systems to reflect all relevant information.
Take mostly incoming sales calls approx.
Make additional outbound calls when required, providing customers with accurate information or advices and updating the insurance system.
Liaise with internal company departments such as collections or customer services to solve customer queries or issues, updating the insurance system.

Working in the insurance services department you will bedealing with sales, servicing and retention calls.
As well as servicing our customer, representatives are expected to introduce other company products.

Liaise with 3rd parties such as claim or insurance companies to solve customer queries, updating the insurance systems or mainframe systems with relevant information.
Handle complaints ensuring adherence to the internal complaints handling procedure.
If required follow company Escalation policy for any complaints or underwriting decisions.
Maximise all sales and cross sell opportunities.
Comply with Regulatory Guidelines (FSA) and understand their impact to the business.
Meet required levels of quality, service and adherence
Take personal accountability of situations and resolve customer issues.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Customer Service Sales Representative job description
Excellent customer service/communications skills and rapport building skills
Good open ended questioning techniques
Ability to work shifts including Saturdays (1 in 3)
Target driven and good under pressure.
Ability to objection handle effectively.
Have proven sales ability and show a real determination to meet targets.
Ability to objection handle effectively and strong negiotiation skills.
No County Court Judgements
Insurance knowledge is a plus but not essential.
