Administer nursing care to patients in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner using proper nursing procedures. The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the unit/area/department's policies and procedures.
1 year emergency room / A+E experience in a hospital setting
Current RGN NMC Pin number (in good standing, without disciplinary actions or investigation)
Advanced cardiac monitoring
Care of emergent and non-emergent patients
Assessment skills - knowledge of normal vs. abnormal findings and reporting of abnormal findings to Charge Nurse or Doctor, if warranted
Phlebotomy skills Critical thinking to intervene with appropriate intervention for urgent/emergent care.
Care of the acute and chronically ill patients
Knowledge of hemodynamics
Basic IV and central line skills
Identifying and managing life-sustaining
To perform assigned duties at the Client Facility in conformity with generally accepted nursing standards and all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
To maintain a record of hours worked and schedule.
To abide by the policies and procedures of Client Facility, and any orders or directions given by Client Facility regarding Nurse’s duties and responsibilities.
To provide nursing services to patients as assigned and as are customarily performed by nurses at the Client Facility.
Education:
Must be a UK registered nurse or licensed to practice in the US.
Graduated with a degree in Nursing from a recognised UK university
Licensing: NCLEX Passer or must be willing to enroll on a short course and take the NCLEX exam.
Experience:
minimum 2 years clinical working experience as a Registered nurse is a must.
