Job Summary-HSE Engineer Job description

The HSE Engineer will execute the HSE Plan taking into account Group HSE standards and will provide expert advice and support at project and site level.

Main responsibilities-HSE Engineer Job description

Improve cultural of QHSE to all levels of employees
Compile the latest applicable legislation and monitoring problems that arise in connection with the implementation of QHSE
Develop and update procedures and rules in corporate relating to implementation of QHSE
Plan and conduct the internal QHSE audit for Corporate and project twice a year and monitor progress of findings (recommendations)
Coordinate the Safety Committee program as well
Coordinate QHSE training, awareness, refreshing to employees
Collate, analyze and report HSE performance statistics in accordance with Company and Group requirements
Prepare and update the necessary Department Working Procedures (DWP) as required
Participate QAHSE coordination meeting (twice a month)
Prepare the report and follow up the finding of external audit related to ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and OHSAS 18000. The audit is conducted twice a year.
Conduct and cooperate with related Department (Proposal) to provide HSE questionnaire response for submission of tender proposal

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-HSE Engineer Job description

Must have

Degree or diploma in Engineering
Fluent written and spoken in English
Computer literate , Microsoft office
 
Nice to have

Formal Accident / Incident Investigation training
ISO14001-2004 Certified Auditor
ISO18001-2007 Certified Auditor
