Assist the HR Manager in delivering an effective Human Resources Service that meets the objectives set out in the People & Diversity Strategy, Annual Service Plan and Service Level Agreement.
Monitor, update and develop Human Resources procedures in relation to employment legislation and Human Resource Management best practice.
Provide line managers and Service Units with Human Resources support and advice.
Attend and contribute to HR team meetings to enable effective delivery of HR related performance targets.

Liaise with the HR Advisors and Resourcing team to enable effective delivery of HR activities.
Support the implementation and delivery of the People & Diversity Strategy and Annual Service Plan to enable delivery of effective organisational development.
To provide professional advice and administration support to line managers and Service Units on the Forces Human Resources procedures.
Ensure accurate and timely administration of payroll information.
Maintain both computerise and paper based databases and personnel records.
To be familiar and comply with all relevant Health and Safety, Operational, Human Resources, Data Protection, Risk Management and Financial Regulations, policies and procedures

Contribute to the development and implementation of a range of corporate and Human Resource projects to enable delivery of a quality service.
