Main responsibilities-Industrial Hygienist Job Description
Highly motivated individual with proven track record of satisfying client needs in Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) services including performing safety audits, IAQ testing and consulting, asbestos abatement planning and management.
· Responsible for assisting the Business Unit Leader develop market ESOH services to commercial, industrial and government clients and develop project opportunities
• This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual who can effectively operate in a Seller/Doer role while identifying and developing junior scientist to grow this program
• Will be expected to support project and proposal opportunities throughout the region while conducting technical ESOH related surveys and assessments, and provide consultation in Occupational Health Risk Management.
• Responsible for managing task order contracts for National Clients and completing projects of moderate size and complexity.
• Prepare, direct and review technical reports, proposals and cost estimates.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Industrial Hygienist Job Description
· • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) desired but not required.
• Asbestos Inspector, Designer and Planner certifications.
• MS degree in Industrial Hygiene or related science field.
• A minimum of 8 yrs experience in the IH field required.
• Operational knowledge of Industrial Hygiene monitoring equipment.
• Operational knowledge of computer databases and office programs (MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word).
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare reports and proposals.
• Staff management and leadership ability.
• Ability to manage and interface with clients on a daily basis.
• US Citizen or permanent work status.
• Must pass drug test, background check and must have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the Company's driving (MVR) policy.
