• Actively support the delivery of high quality directorate and performance information.
• Produce business, performance and other information and analysis for directorates within the Organisation as directed by the Operations Information Manager

To produce high quality and timely performance management information to support the Clinical Directorates’ operational and clinical management requirements.

To manage a suite of routine reporting within non-negotiable timescales without compromising accuracy
To ensure Organisation Managers understand the targets and monitoring reports and information produced
To provide high quality analysis and business intelligence to directorates, including market and benchmarking information, detailed analysis of performance, trends, forecasting, and all other analytical support required.
Corporate Monitoring
To develop to a specification routine corporate performance reports to service the needs of the Organisation Board, Executives and other Senior Groups within the Organisation
To work with relevant teams on specific corporate analysis requirements with a cross-directorate focus.
To understand to a detailed level relevant datasets within the Organisation data warehouse or other sources in order to provide appropriate analysis
Support the Corporate Team’s work in monitoring Organisation key performance indicators and contract terms and the impact on directorates.
To provide adhoc analysis and reporting as directed within the team
Statutory Returns
Assist in the timely production and audit of national statutory returns using automated and manual data uploads to appropriate collections
Information Management Development
Contribute to the development of the Information Management agenda within the Department
Ensure good and effective communications with the Operations Information Manager, Head Of Information Management and the Corporate Information Manager to maximise opportunities to work efficiently and avoid duplication.
Ensure progressive development of the Organisation intranet and business intelligence solution as the operational methods to deliver as much routine information as possible.
Other
Attend internal meetings, national seminars, conferences etc as appropriate and required.
Work with external agencies and consultancies as appropriate and ensure their data needs are met.
Ability to communicate effectively with wide range of Organisation staff including Senior Managers, information specialists and operational staff as well as external ORGANISATION colleagues. To establish and maintain relationships with these staff.
Ability to negotiate with and to agree deadlines etc with internal and external staff.
An analytical mind able to resolve extremely complicated problems using advanced problem solving skills to assess and determine the most effective solutions
Excellent people relationship skills including communication and organisational skills to maximise the contribution of colleagues
The ability to act independently and as part of a team accountable for own accuracy and timeliness of information provision
High level of numeracy and analytical skills
To be capable of continually adjusting priorities of daily workload to meet the shifting demands and priorities of multiple customers.
Advanced skills in using and understanding complex databases and spreadsheets including being an expert user of Microsoft Office suite of products and other software packages.
Advanced skills in understanding operational data, their interrelationships and appropriateness and relevance for business intelligence and reporting.
Ability to solve technical problems with creative use of appropriate software within a wider team programme of work
