Insurance Technician Job Description

In this busy role, acting as a technician you would be responsibile for the liaison with brokers on the team as required principally focusing on:-

Slip preparation and production.
Endorsement preparation and production. Wording preparation if required.
Processing of premiums and documentation.
Correspondence with company offices as required.
Working with and assisting in Peer Review process as required.
Utilisation of all systems including electronic trading as required, data recording systems and core document management systems.
Technical input to accounts worked upon.

- Rapid production of slips in line with brokers expectations in quality, content and technical accuracy. "Right first time" ethos. Advocating and demonstrating service and performance standards across wider team.

- To ensure that clients and producers receive top level service in accordance with company principles and the required service methodology.

- Communication both written and verbal to be of highest standard.

- Meeting client deadlines and agreed objectives.

- Ensure we are transparent and in line with all directives on working practices.

- Ensure that documents and program placement results are reviewed and meet client expectations.

Take a proactive stance on contract certainty and promote this principle.

- Lead by example in minimizing duplication of work and set standards.

- Assist with technical Peer Review as and when required.

Communication with the network and clients as agreed with lead broker and attending client meetings as required.

Data input and data management of core systems as required.
