As a Designer you will work collaboratively with Developers and Information Architects to determine the user experience across multiple platforms. Working on a variety of projects you will propose solutions that balance user need with business goals and technological capabilities. An understanding of how and why people use products must drive you. You will propose solutions to problems that excite and enthuse the audience.

Other responsibilities include:
• Solve interaction design problems using analytical and creative methods.
• Provide expertly crafted documentation of a nature appropriate to the problem.
• Advise and help conduct user research, when required.
• Promote the discipline of interaction design within the COMPANY as a whole.

Requirements

Understand when to apply a variety of interaction design techniques appropriately to solve specific design problems.

Be proficient in crafting interaction design documentation: Persona, scenarios, wireframes, competitive analyses, flows, and conceptual maps.

You will offer unbounded creativity and an obsessive attention to detail with a keen eye for typography, colour and layout.

You're a natural with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign in fact, you’re constantly picking up new technical skills as and when the need arises.

You’ll have an exceptional portfolio - from sketches and wireframes through to polished visuals and concepts. Ideally you’ll have worked across web, mobile, games consoles or TV.

Along with key design skills you’ll also offer a new dynamic to the team. Flash and motion graphics are highly desirable you might even be a 3D, HTML 5 or CSS guru.

You'll be able to keep lots of plates spinning (metaphorically) and you’ll be able to juggle the needs of the business with the needs of the user often championing the best experience for our audiences.

You’ve got a hard-earned bachelor’s degree in design or a related subject or the equivalent on-the-job experience and exceptional communication skills are a must you’re an expert at winning friends and influencing people.
