Management of the planning of projects, ensuring that the project reporting is carried out in such a manner as to accurately reflect the current status of projects, and those necessary plans and reports are prepared for submission to the relevant management.

Compliance with Corporate QHS&E standards.
Lead and support the Planning Team to ensure the highest quality of planning and reporting activities are achieved.
Responsibility for all areas of the Manufacturing, Project and Applications planning, including short, medium and long term forecasting.
Provide monthly resource performance analysis for all order intake and forecast requirements.
Prioritise and plan factory workload through effective utilisation of people and plant.
Interface with manufacturing departments on activities scheduled for Short, Medium and Long term
Interface with Stores and Procurement on each Project for deliverables.
Ability to work in a team environment, to teach and coach others in the awareness of planning techniques and software.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Lead Planner job description
Preferably HNC/HND qualified within an engineering discipline
Min 5 years planning experience, including preparation of detailed manufacturing and project plans
Experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project and Preactor
