Direct and administer purchasing activity for upgrade and repair projects..
Administer the planning of materials and services in coordination with the Project Manager.
Create material and service requisitions and local purchase orders to support the project.
Track, expedite, and report progress of the project’s critical path items.
Communicate with Logistics personnel on important and critical consignment.
Prepare regular summary and detail budget updates.
Ensure compliance with company policy regarding vendors, receipts, payments, etc.
Travel to and from project site as required.
Reside with Project Team on project site for a short or extended durational period.
Support Project / Operation’s approval and transition.
Responsible for coordinating with agents in regards to customs clearance and documentation.
Ensure that materials and equipment are prepared safely and shipped accordingly with Transocean policies and procedure
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
3– 5 years in a Supply Chain procurement position.
SKILLS:
Skill in operating basic email, spreadsheet and database computer programs. Proficiency with fairly complex in-house computer programs. Basic analytical skills. Knowledge of moderately complex procedures and practices relating to purchasing of goods and services.

Interpersonal communication: Job requires employee to communicate well with people at different levels, frequently sharing information with others while listening to and understanding their points of view.
Working in a group environment: Job may require employee to work as part of a group to solve issues and problems. Familiar with and conduct duties in line with the Policies and Procedures included in the Supply Chain Management Manual
