The post holder is expected to work closely with all disciplines to ensure high standards of assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of nursing care, for patients requiring critical care services and their families.
The post holder can be designated to take charge of a specified area of the Critical Care unit where level 2 patients are being nursed.
The post holder is required to provide technical/specialist assistance requiring a high degree of dexterity, precision, accuracy and prolonged concentration to patients and medical staff.
The post holder is required to participate in supervision, teaching and/ or mentorship to assist with the integration of staff within the department.
