An Oracle Application Server Systems Administrator within its Finance division. This critical role provides technical support on Oracle applications as well as the troubleshooting and resolutions coordination of all application/functional support issues.
Besides providing Oracle system administration, support & configuration, the role holder will have the opportunity to assist in enhancements, upgrades and specific projects relating to those applications.
To be responsible for the systems administration of the Oracle EBusiness Suite Financial Management System (FMS) in order to ensure smooth operation of the system.
Perform the user maintenance of the financial system, ensuring it meets authorised user needs and addresses all requirements for those users including statutory and other external requirements.
Systems Software
To ensure the integrated ledger system is in balance at all times in order to maintain the integrity of all financial records, and to be responsible for all aspects of systems housekeeping, including:
* - setting up and maintaining users on the system, with the appropriate levels of access and security
* - setting up and maintaining accounts on the system, with the correct linkages
* -completing all necessary month and year end roll over procedures e.g. trial balance
* - Advising the Head of Financial & Management Accounting (HFMA) of any issues of concern and in conjunction with HFMA identify and implement appropriate solutions.

Oracle Systems Administrator Job Description
Extensive experience of maintaining and supporting Oracle Ebusiness Suite 11i or R12 modules including:
I-Procurement, Procurement (PO), Accounts Payables (AP), Cash Management (CE), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Workflow, Experienced with Applications Desktop Integrator (ADI) and Financial Statement Generator (FSG); Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing packages with VBA scripting experience. Experienced in SQL software.
