Job Summary-Performance Analyst Job Description

The postholder will support the development of a performance management framework including proposing and influencing changes to policies and procedures related to own work area.

The role is responsible for supporting the design, development, analysis, interpretation and presentation of statistical data, from community information systems, to support the many performance functions. The post holder will provide the necessary support for the monitoring of SLAs against their performance targets.

The role also involves undertaking complex information analysis in response to enquiries, providing assistance and advice to colleagues and managers within the Company and contributing to the accurate and timely completion of statutory returns.

Main responsibilities-Performance Analyst Job Description

 To undertake analysis as and when required in a timely and accurate way enabling national and local priorities to be set and monitored.

 Support the Performance and Reporting Manager on a range of information related projects and developmental tasks.

 Coordinate performance information ensuring that all deadlines are met.

 To develop and support high quality data standards

 Support the development of surveys and audits to support service developments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Performance Analyst Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent knowledge acquired by previous experience in a relevant role.

EXPERIENCE

Significant experience of data manipulation and analysis using a range of software including databases and spreadsheets ie Excel, Access and SQL

Experience of producing performance management reports.

KNOWLEDGE & UNDERSTANDING

An understanding of the purpose of information systems
Practical usage of information systems from a user perspective
Up-to-date knowledge of Data Protection legislation and awareness of Information Governance
