The Project Analyst will have project management responsibilities within the department, ensuring good communication and structured working both across the team and with external stakeholders.
Plan and monitor projects within the department, analysing with the team members the streams necessary to hit the project objectives.
To manage the operation of the projects from conception, ensuring clear areas of responsibilities are defined and areas of dependency are monitored and delivered upon. To manage external stakeholder relationships to ensure appropriate communication, and workflows to and from such stakeholders. To keep a risk log for all projects and to work to minimise and ultimately mitigate risk throughout the programme
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* 1. Supervise one or more projects concurrently, supporting tasks and individual objectives allocated to the assigned members of each team where required.
* 2. As appropriate create project plans for assigned projects to Project Office standards.
* 3. Support projects in order to ensure that developments meet objectives, agreed deadlines and budgetary requirements.
* 4. Assess the interdependencies between different areas and facilitate efficient interaction and communication.
* 5. Be responsible for the creation of necessary project management documentation for the project as a whole.
# Over 2 yrs experience of supporting project teams, running several separate concurrent projects and managing stakeholders, both internal and external
# Proven experience in delivering large projects on time and to budget with great attention to detail and appropriate documentation.
# Very good experience of project planning tools and methods.
# Excellent team building skills.
# Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
# Ability to argue and support a case on all levels of the organisation
