The successful Candidates will be involved from the initial stages of project definition through to successful implementation, having ensured that control of all key elements has been maintained throughout the life of the project.
Reporting into a Programme Manager, you will be working on one or more of the many varied projects which are planned. Your responsibilities will include:
* - Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed requirements and quality.
* - Ensuring financial controls are in place and revenue and capital costs are contained within budget expectations.
* - Managing resources; typically those involved with business analysis and testing as well as project support staff.
* - Managing relationships with 3rd party suppliers involved in projects.
* - Managing relationships and communicating with stakeholders.
* - Presenting proposals to various levels within the organistion.
* -Educated to Graduate level though more importantly you will possess extensive project management experience.
* -a background working within a structured project environment
* -possibly hold a professional project management qualification such as Prince2 or APM.
* -Experience of working with third party providers is essential
* -Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* -Ability to present project proposals and progress to different levels within the company
* -Experience of working with and coaching less experienced staff is also an important part of the role.
* -Experience of mobile communications, ERP, infrastructure,
telecoms or software development type projects will be of value.
