Service Base Engineer job description

  Be responsible for the technical preparation of projects (equipments, certificates, sea-fastening, lifting plans, etc)
  Develop and coordinate the interfaces with RBU in terms of procurement of equipment needed by projects

  Regroup and analyze the feasibility to perform preparation of equipments with the requests of services received from project teams
  Prepare quotations and budget offers to be submitted to the project teams and assets department
  Develop and coordinate interfaces with RBUs for equipments requests, storage, preparation in the given time frame and budget
  Coordinate with the different services (procurement, warehouse, etc) to follow and achieve all the requests for specific procurement, preparation, etc
  Be responsible for the fabricators network in terms of qualification, audit, evaluation, and do the promotion
  Prepare call of tender, risks assessment and follow fabrications, load tests & certification
  Work together with the project engineer (RBU) to prepare all drawings and documents relative to the deck layout and to the installation procedures of the equipments and material

Prepare and issue lifting plans as per standards
Prepare and issue sea-fastening calculations
Be responsible for the up-date of technical documentation and certificates (paper and electronic format)
Coordinate together with company and project HSE officers, hazid sessions, safety inductions, etc
Identify and master the risks on equipments preparation, standards rules for similar operations
Regroup the information connected in view to analyze and improve the performance and to establish
Guarantee the respect of the QHSE rules regarding the offshore base activities
