Technical Consultant job description

The Technical Consultant will have strong infrastructure expertise to work on multi discipline complex projects.

You will work on most complex projects and be involved in business analysis and problem solving,

You will help transform vision into reality, complexity into simplicity, plans into results.

Delivery of technical consultancy services

Provide technical advice to client

Design and implement network and server system solutions for clients

Maintain knowledge of current technologies through research and training as determined by Technical Team manager

Assisting the sales process by providing input to Tenders

.

Relevant degree or equivalent and ideally professional qualifications such as BCS membership or be working towards ITIL accreditation

Experience of operational ICT service delivery.

Broad technical knowledge of IT network infrastructures, operating systems and software in particular including some of:

MS Server family and Active Directory

Novell Netware 6 and e-directory

Linux based operating systems

-Novell Zen Works / Microsoft SMS

-Checkpoint / Nokia .IPS0 / PIX and

-Cisco based network infrastructures and popular routing protocols
