Treasury Manager Job description

- Position is part of the Treasury Operations organization responsible for the daily provision of market liquidity and Foreign exchange

- Managing a team of Analysts to deliver daily FX and cash needs accurately and on a timely basis
- Engaging with various stakeholders to address any operational challenges and to identify and collaborate on effective solutions
- Supporting employees as prescribed in the PMP process , ensuring they are adequately trained to achieve treasury goals and developed to meet company and personal aspirations
- Review and approve treasury transactions ensuring accuracy of submissions and appropriate controls and procedures have been followed
- Support ongoing change as a result of business and regulatory requirements through consultation, project management and implementation. Ensuring treasury staff are managed through process and can deliver daily requirements
- Ensuring PRSAs are reviewed , maintained and adhered to
- Ensuring all required documentation is completed and stored appropriately
- Reporting and analysis for controllership organization to support BHC and local regulatory requirements
- Ensuring assets of the company are protected from FX exposure , through hedging of positions

 Qualifications

- Knowledge of treasury concepts, Funding, cash management, FX

- Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team to deliver to tight deadlines

- Ability to prioritise work and keep focused on key deliverables when unexpected challenges arise

- Self starter who can make decisions within agreed scope of responsibility but also seeks advice and support when needed

- Strong relationship manager with good influencing skills to develop and maintain effective internal and external customer needs

- Strong financial acumen, preferably with finance or treasury professional qualifications

- Ability to use Microsoft Office software to a competent standard
