Observe and be familiar with the company Health and Safety Policy and COSHH Regulations.
Attend both on site and off site training courses as required, with overnight stays when required.

Keep up to date with advancements relating to the motor vehicle industry (to be technically aware).
Be able to work from any workshop when required.
Ensure safe & appropriate use of company tools.
Ensure all provided tools are fit for purpose, reporting any damage or defects to Line Manager straight away.
Essential
Hold full clean driving licence
Time served apprentice trained Mechanical Technician
Proven knowledge of MOT requirements / legislation
Ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment to enable the identification of faults.
Up to date knowledge of vehicle maintenance techniques.
To be familiar with current Health & Safety Policy and Procedures in a workshop environment.
Desirable:
Qualified / Master Technician
