Job Summary-Word Processor Operator job description

To carry out the full range of word processing and related office automation duties.

6. To be responsible for the cleaning, loading of consumables and general care of their
own and other shared equipment.

7. To report faults to system support or other designated help desk in respect of all
equipment for which they are responsible.

8. Minute taking and production of minutes.

9. To undertake any other duties consistent with the job as directed by management.

EDUCATIONAL/ OCCUPATIONAL

-Relevant educational qualification or

-Where no formal qualification is held previous clerical experience involving significant audio and/or copy typing

-Previous typing experience including audio, computerised and noncomputerised systems

-Minimum typing speed of 50 wpm.

-Minute taking.
