Workforce Planning Officer

Job Summary-Workforce Planning Officer

Implementation of effective workforce plans which deliver the HR Plan and Force objectives.

5. Analyse and monitor workforce statistics including retention, leavers and diversity profiles to identify trends and gaps. Make recommendations to address these. Working with the Strategy
and Planning team, co-ordinate the provision of HR data for the Home Office returns and performance reports.

6. Monitor and update line management on behalf of the
Establishment Management Group. Develop, implement and monitor effective establishment control processes including the development of ORIGIN to support this. Work with relevant HR Officers and the Finance Department to carry our regular audits and ensure accuracy of information. [cont right]

7. Work with company Development Programme leads to make sure any plans for re-structures,
workforce modernisation or service reviews are fed into the workforce planning process.

8. Through effective workforce planning and use of positive action initiatives, support the HR
service and the Force in meeting its diversity objectives and targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities-Workforce Planning Officer

Formal Qualifications required

Desirable
Grad CIPD or equivalent (or nearing
completion)

Degree

Experience

Essential

Previous experience in an HR role

Carrying out research and preparing
reports

Analysing data, identifying trends and drawing conclusions
